El implacable sencillo de Charlotte de Witte, «No Division», con XSALT, se lanza digitalmente el 29 de mayo, con seis conciertos en Nueva York en cuatro días, con diferentes sesiones de DJ en salas, desde pequeñas e íntimas hasta grandes y contundentes. La versión en vinilo (que incluye la mezcla original y la mezcla instrumental como cara B) se lanza anticipadamente y estará a la venta en los conciertos.

¿Por qué la conexión con Nueva York? De Witte afirma: «Lanzar este sencillo mientras estoy en Nueva York tiene un toque simbólico. Hay algo en la ciudad, su caos, su diversidad, su movimiento constante, que refleja a la perfección el espíritu de «No Division». Es un lugar donde las diferencias colisionan y coexisten».

«No Division» es el segundo sencillo del esperado álbum debut homónimo de Charlotte (disponible el 7 de noviembre). «Este tema es otro capítulo de mi próximo álbum y, como los demás, refleja una parte de mí. «No Division» es a la vez una llamada y una celebración». Es un recordatorio de lo que es posible cuando nos perdemos en la música y nos unimos en la misma frecuencia. Nos recuerda que somos uno.

‘No Division’: Rebosante de una potencia techno abrumadora y penetrante, este tema exige toda nuestra atención, con sonidos espaciales de aspiradora, un tema principal con un gancho penetrante, un sonido clásico de órgano y letras silbantes y robóticas como «…cortar el cable/romper el sistema/luchar contra el fuego/sin división…». Es un manifiesto para bailar. Charlotte de Witte tiene una agenda, además de crear un tema genial; «‘No Division’ surge de la unidad y de la comprensión de que cuando nos unimos a través de la música, las barreras entre nosotros comienzan a disolverse. Se trata de borrar las líneas invisibles que nos separan, ya sean culturales, emocionales o personales».

XSALT fue sampleado previamente por de Witte en sus temas «Overdrive», «High Street», «Roar» y «How You Move». En esta ocasión, le ofrece su voz en exclusiva por primera vez.

Charlotte de Witte’s unrelenting single ‘No Division’ featuring XSALT drops digitally on May 29^th while she plays six NYC shows in four days – with different DJ sets across venues from small and intimate to big and uncompromising. The vinyl version (including the Original Mix and Instrumental Mix as a B-side) gets an early release and will be on sale at the shows.

Why the NYC connection? Says de Witte: ‘Launching this single while I’m in New York feels symbolic. There’s something about the city, its chaos, its diversity, its constant movement, that perfectly mirrors the spirit of ‘No Division’. It’s a place where differences collide and coexist.’

‘No Division’ is the second single from Charlotte’s eponymous long-awaited debut album (out November 7th). ‘This track is another chapter of my upcoming album, and like the others, it reflects a part of who I am. ‘No Division’ is both a call and a celebration. It’s a reminder of what’s possible when we lose ourselves in the music and come together on the same frequency. It reminds us that we are one.’

XSALT was previously sampled by de Witte on her tracks ‘Overdrive’, ‘High Street’, ‘Roar’ and ‘How You Move’. Here he provides exclusive vocals for her for the first time.
