Cuando las luces del escenario se apagan y los aplausos se disuelven en el silencio, despierta otra SOWA —una que el mundo rara vez ve.
“Hay dos de mí”, admite. “SOWA, que pisa el escenario y ansía la atención. Y Diana, que se esconde en su habitación acogedora, deseando silencio.”

Recuerda una frase de Britney Spears: “Quería ser vista, y al mismo tiempo, ocultarme”. En esas palabras se reconoce. SOWA es la voz que se atreve; Diana es la que huye. Juntas crean un frágil equilibrio.

ARTE & INSPIRACIÓN
La música de SOWA suena como una rebelión envuelta en ternura —un caleidoscopio donde coexisten el pop, el pop-rock, el R&B, los recitativos y los himnos patrióticos.
“La rebeldía es SOWA, la suavidad es Diana”, explica. “La parte más incomprendida de mi arte es esta: la gente quiere saber qué sonido elegiré finalmente. Pero no puedo dejar de explorar.”

Su arte nace de dos fuentes inagotables: el dolor y el amor.
“Son inseparables. Donde hay dolor, siempre hay amor. Incluso el amor no correspondido puede convertirse en energía —alimentando la reflexión, las canciones y una creatividad más profunda.”

Si sus canciones tuvieran aromas, serían perfumes de su viaje:
pop temprano — caramelo y peonías,
pop-rock — cuero y sándalo,
R&B — vainilla, tabaco y jazmín.

Algunas letras todavía la atraviesan. En Vinyl, canta sobre la depresión:
“Como un disco que gira sin fin, incluso cuando la música se ha detenido —girando en piloto automático, sin sentir ni saborear.”

UCRANIA & IDENTIDAD
Para SOWA, Ucrania no es solo su hogar —está escrita en su ADN.
“Los ucranianos conocen el poder de su voz. Hoy nuestro objetivo es terminar la guerra, detener la pérdida diaria de vidas. Tuvimos mala suerte con nuestro vecino, pero somos afortunados de ser quienes somos: fuertes, irrompibles.”

Hay palabras en ucraniano que nunca podría traducir. Una es туга (tuga).
“No es solo tristeza. Es el dolor de perder el hogar por un misil, o la añoranza de los seres queridos en el frente. Permanece dentro de ti por mucho tiempo.”

Otra es щемить (shchemít). “Es cuando el corazón se te aprieta de repente —con un recuerdo de la infancia, o al escuchar una voz familiar después de años.”

Cuando comenzó la invasión a gran escala, salió de casa con tres cosas: su micrófono y equipo, una bandera ucraniana y dos cartas de fans.
“Solo eran dos. Pero significaban más para mí que una maleta.”

FEMINIDAD & IMAGEN
Ser mujer en la música significa cargar con el peso de las expectativas.
“Me decían: ‘Sal a las redes sociales solo con el pelo suelto’. Pero me encanta ser diferente —a veces estricta, con el pelo recogido, a veces suave.”

Su relación con la feminidad ha evolucionado.
“Hubo un tiempo en el que me avergonzaba de ser mujer. Hoy me siento orgullosa. La feminidad no es solo suavidad. Es una fuerza —un arma con la que nacemos.”

A las chicas jóvenes divididas entre belleza y poder, les ofrece esto:
“La belleza es poder. Cualquier defecto puede convertirse en tu fuerza. ¿Por qué elegir, cuando puedes fusionar ambas?”

FUTURO & TEMORES
Cada artista tiene un sueño que solo susurra para sí. SOWA también.
“No lo diré en voz alta todavía. Pero créanme —sé cómo soñar en grande.”

Lo que sí sabe con certeza es esto: nunca dejará de cantar.
“Nada puede quitarme la música. Es mi aliento, mi latido. Está en las palabras, en los sonidos, en los espacios cotidianos. Siempre está conmigo.”

When the stage lights fade and the applause dissolves into quiet, another SOWA awakens — one the world rarely sees.
“There are two of me,” she admits. “SOWA, who steps into the spotlight and craves attention. And Diana, who hides away in her cozy room, longing for silence.”

She recalls Britney Spears once saying: “I desired to be seen, and at the same time to be hidden.” In those words, she recognizes herself. SOWA is the voice that dares; Diana is the one who escapes. Together, they create a fragile equilibrium.

ART & INSPIRATION

SOWA’s music feels like rebellion wrapped in tenderness — a kaleidoscope where pop, pop-rock, R&B, recitatives, and patriotic anthems coexist.
“Rebellion is SOWA, softness is Diana,” she explains. “The most misunderstood part of my art is this: people want to know which sound I will finally choose. But I can’t stop exploring.”

Her art is born from two inexhaustible sources — pain and love.
“They are inseparable. Where there is pain, there is always love. Even unrequited love can turn into energy — fueling reflection, songs, and deeper creativity.”

If her songs carried scents, they would be perfumes of her journey:

• early pop — caramel and peonies,
• pop-rock — leather and sandalwood,
• R&B — vanilla, tobacco, and jasmine.

Some lyrics still pierce her. In “Vinyl,” she sings of depression:
“Like a record spinning endlessly, even when the music has stopped — turning on autopilot, without feeling or taste.”

UKRAINE & IDENTITY

To SOWA, Ukraine is not just home — it’s written in her DNA.
“Ukrainians know the power of their voice. Today our goal is to end the war, to stop the daily loss of lives. We were unlucky with our neighbor, but we are blessed to be who we are: strong, unbreakable.”

There are words in Ukrainian she could never translate. One is туга (tuga).
“It’s not just sadness. It’s the ache of losing home to a missile, or the longing for loved ones at the front. It stays inside you for a long time.”
Another is щемить (shchemít). “It’s when your heart tightens unexpectedly — at a childhood memory, or when you hear a familiar voice after years.”

When the full-scale invasion began, she left home with three things: her microphone and gear, a Ukrainian flag, and two fan letters.
“They were only two. But they meant more to me than a suitcase.”

FEMININITY & IMAGE

Being a woman in music means carrying the weight of expectations.
“I was told: ‘Go live on social media only with your hair down.’ But I love being different — sometimes strict, with my hair tied back, sometimes soft.”

Her relationship with femininity has evolved.
“There was a time I was ashamed of being a woman. Today I feel proud. Femininity is not just about softness. It’s a force — a weapon we are born with.”

To young girls torn between beauty and power, she offers this:
“Beauty is power. Any flaw can become your strength. Why choose, when you can merge both?”

FUTURE & FEARS

Every artist has a dream they whisper only to themselves. SOWA does too.
“I won’t say it out loud yet. But believe me — I know how to dream big.”

What she knows with certainty is this: she will never stop singing.
“Nothing can take music away from me. It’s my breath, my heartbeat. It’s in words, in sounds, in everyday spaces. It is always with me.”
