Chicago-born powerhouse Lee Foss returns to his homeland with a pulse-pounding collaboration with Gabss and XKYLAR, «So Hot,» due on his Repopulate Mars label on October 17. «So Hot» delivers an intense tech house session filled with futuristic synths, pounding drums, and a driving bassline. The sensuality of the vocals blends with the rough, physical beat, adding just the right amount of tension and heat. Perfect for strobe-lit dance floors at peak times, «So Hot» is another standout track in a year packed with releases for Foss.

We had a blast recording this at Lee’s house. It was great working together, as I’ve always been a fan of his house music. We were at his house in Topanga, and the atmosphere was very chill and cool. I love how, even though we recorded it in Topanga, the song transports you to a dark, underground club. – XKYLAR

At the helm of one of the most popular modern house labels today, Lee Foss’s influence can be heard in clubs, charts, and radio stations around the world. Founded in 2016, his Repopulate Mars label and subsequent offshoots have unveiled and hosted some of the biggest stars in modern house music, from Mau P to John Summit. Following a breakout collaboration with Grammy-nominated producer Wuki on «IDFWU» in July, Lee Foss now enlists one of Brazil’s most prominent emerging minimal and tech house talents, Gabss, a CUFF and Hellbent regular, as well as Los Angeles-based artist, producer, DJ, and songwriter XKYLAR for «So Hot.»
